چکیده

Plant extracts and essential oils are promising new sources of non-toxic alternatives to chemicals substances. They used for their antimicrobial properties against plant diseases fungal origin, bacterial, those virus origin. This study was carried out the antifungal activity Artemisia herba-alba, Foeniculum vulgare Citrus sinensis Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. albedinis. Essential oil extracted by steam distillation. Antifungal investigated macro-broth method dilution a minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) assay this pathogen. The yield obtained distillation samples 2.31% greater than that from sample which 1.8%, followed herba alba 1.22%. Regarding activity, results revealed better tested strainsat lowest LC50 values (0.1 µl/ml). On other hand, vulgare, show similar MICs mycelial growth value MIC CMF is 50 µl/ml three oils.

Structural and Biochemical Changes in Salicylic-Acid-Treated Date Palm Roots Challenged with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. albedinis

Histochemical and ultrastructural analyses were carried out to assess structural and biochemical changes in date palm roots pretreated with salicylic acid (SA) then inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. albedinis (Foa). Flavonoids, induced proteins, and peroxidase activity were revealed in root tissues of SA-treated plants after challenge by Foa. These reactions were closely associated with...

Genome sequence of the date palm Phoenix dactylifera L

Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is a cultivated woody plant species with agricultural and economic importance. Here we report a genome assembly for an elite variety (Khalas), which is 605.4 Mb in size and covers >90% of the genome (~671 Mb) and >96% of its genes (~41,660 genes). Genomic sequence analysis demonstrates that P. dactylifera experienced a clear genome-wide duplication after eithe...

Risk Levels of Invasive Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. in Areas Suitable for Date Palm (Phoenix dactylifera) Cultivation under Various Climate Change Projections

Global climate model outputs involve uncertainties in prediction, which could be reduced by identifying agreements between the output results of different models, covering all assumptions included in each. Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. is an invasive pathogen that poses risk to date palm cultivation, among other crops. Therefore, in this study, the future distribution of invasive Fusarium oxysporum ...
